Since Winter has definitely hit in Australia (well Adelaide at least), I thought I would do a round up of my favourite boots on Asos, because boots are an essential winter item and well, I love shoes so why not?
Asos, for those who don’t know, is a black hole where money disappears and you get deliveries at your doorstep of beautiful clothes, accessories, shoes, gifts, you name it. In all honesty I have not ordered anything off of Asos in a LONG time, but that might change soon.
The Black Boot
I personally feel as though everyone should have at least one pair of black boots in their wardrobe, I have three. So I don’t really need another pair, but I love how these two have the buckles and the studded details. It just adds a little somethin’ somethin’ to an item in your wardrobe that would normally be quite plain.
I know what you’re thinking too, they look the same, but they aren’t, trust me! Notice how the pair on the right have the stud detailing around the base of the shoe?! It’s all in the details.
The Feminine Boot
I have been obsessed with the colour pink lately which is way out of character for me. Pink, blush, rose, nude tones are so feminine, I feel a little more like a lady wearing them. I don’t know, it’s hard to explain. However, the tomboy inside of me cringes a little, which is why these next two are perfect. They are feminine in tone but the buckles add a little edge to them so they aren’t so girly.
The colours are also quite muted, so they aren’t too in your face, perfect for everyday wear. Again, the look the same but the colours are different and the colour of the buckles on the right pair are gold as opposed to silver.
The Statement Boot
Okay so I have four in this category. These boots would really be the wow factor of any outfit. Numbers 5 and 8 you would really want to wear with a simple outfit and let the boots do the talking. The other two, while slightly less in your face, you still wouldn’t want too much going on with your outfit.
Apparently shoes are the first thing people notice about you and if you were walking down the street in these bad boys then I can guarantee you will get people noticing you. If I HAD to choose a pair to purchase, I would probably go the silver ones, I love a good silver shoe.
Last but not least the ever faithful gumboot. Personally I don’t have a need for gumboots but I wish I did, they’re so cute. If you were heading to a winter festival like Splendour in the Grass then I can imagine they would be useful though. I could see myself wearing the lower cut ones as they don’t look as gumbooty so I could look stylish and jump in puddles. The higher ones though wouldn’t be useful to me but hey YOU might find a use for them. I just really love glittery things.
So, what do you think? What are your favourites? Where do you shop for boots?
